Technical & marketing support to highlander small farmer those who lives above 1000 Mt above sea level in Kotabagh & Bhimtal Block of Nainital District for Cultivation & dehydration of Vegetables. Lot of land is uncultivated in that area and their economic & living condition is poor As they can not regularly assess the market due to geographic situation & weak road linkage & other hand their produce are perishable not economically viable to do so. With the support of this project they can grow good quality organic vegetable & simultaneously dehydrate by using low cost solar dryer. The organization will facilitate to collect dried vegetable in certain continuity & after packing in common facility centre the produce will be marketed.

Organisation Profile

Brief Description
PAHAL is an voluntary Institution was established in 1988, with the object of Social Welfare, Environment Protection & Rural Development. It is worth mentioning from the very inception, that, the society has paid special attention towards income generation, and livelihood support activities, PAHAL has initiated community based micro finance for promoting micro enterprise and livelihood activities in Uttarakhand in 1994 & till now formed more than 700 Self Help Groups.(Highest in Uttarakhand) we have provided more than 10 crore liquidity to community and supported more than 5000 micro enterprises in our area. We are also engaged in Health Education services to the society and environment conservation.
Pahal is accredited member of credibility alliance and Partner and associated with many social net work like Sa-dhan, Micro credit campaign USA and Planet Finance France.
