Livelihood Support to 300 Highlande small FarmersThrough Vegetable Cultivation & Dehydration
Description
Technical & marketing support to highlander small farmer those who lives above 1000 Mt above sea level in Kotabagh & Bhimtal Block of Nainital District for Cultivation & dehydration of Vegetables. Lot of land is uncultivated in that area and their economic & living condition is poor As they can not regularly assess the market due to geographic situation & weak road linkage & other hand their produce are perishable not economically viable to do so. With the support of this project they can grow good quality organic vegetable & simultaneously dehydrate by using low cost solar dryer. The organization will facilitate to collect dried vegetable in certain continuity & after packing in common facility centre the produce will be marketed.

 To prevent the wastage of fruits and vegetables due to inadequate storage facilities and provide nutrition security to the rural poor particularly during lean season
 To promote the marketing of the nutritive dehydrated products in rural areas and other potential markets
