Uluru Health Care Clinic
The UHCC has operated for over 20 years and continues to provide high quality primary health care to the people in surrounding villages. Our staff of highly trained doctor and nurses administer consultations, medication and minor procedures to over 100 patients each day on average. Additionally, the staff of UHCC run a Mobile Medical Clinic that uses our ambulance to provide free medical care and medicine to the most remote areas in the Edaikazhinadu Panchayat. This service ensures the most poor and rural have a chance to access healthcare. Our social and community development workers are also heavily engaged in the medical centre and provide tailored social support to patients in need.

Uluru Children's Home
Recognising the high incidence of female infanticide and foeticide in the region, TEWFI opened the UCH in 2003, a home for orphaned, abandoned and destitute children. Initially the home was started for the girl child, however within a few years it became apparent that needs of boys was just as great. Currently we house 46 children and have given refuge to 108 children since beginning. We ensure that all our children are given the best opportunities in life to provide a health, stimulating and holistic development for each child. This includes provide a range extra curricular activities such as dance, music, karate and other sports. We rely on donations to ensure that we can continue to provide exceptional housing for our and children and to create the atmosphere of a "home". Moreover, TEWFI has started Nursery and Primary School (LKG-3rd) for our children as well as community children. This decision was made to provide top quality English medium education and to improve educational standards across the panchayat.

e-Classroom on Wheels 2
This innovative initiative gives children in rural villages an opportunity to learn computers and essential IT skills. The e-Classroom on Wheels 2 (eCoW2) uses a reconstituted bus to directly deliver services to 13 government schools in the Ediakazhinadu Panchayat. None of these schools have a computer subject, something that is becoming increasing important in enhancing student opportunities in modern India. The bus seat 33 students and is equipped with state of the art materials, including dropdown desks, new laptops with Windows 10, and a LCD TV screen to project lecture. This ensures children are given the best start to their IT education. Additionally the project, started in conjunction with EWB, uses solar panels to power all the bus amenities. This eco friendly project has impact the lives of over 600 children in the last year, and continues to expand and provide high quality computer education. The beneficial impact of this type of program is immense as it will ensure children will be skilled for the future, and gives them opportunities and foundation to engage in any work they choose.

The East West Foundation of India (TEWFI) has operated for over 20 years across 24 villages in Tamil Nadu. We have established a Children's Home for abandoned, destitute and orphaned children, currently giving refuge to 46 children. We provide healthcare through a clinic and a mobile ambulance clinic for remote villages. Our education programs are both modern and innovative with an English Medium Nursery and Primary School, as well as e-Classroom on Wheels Project that gives computer and IT training in rural/remote schools. Our Community Development programs also benefit thousands every year. Finally, rejuvenation of the costal land, water waste management, and water catchment ponds are key in our environmental sustainability programs.
