Background

Organisation History
Abhinav is an independent, non-profit non-government organization for the people. Based at Muzaffarnagar, Abhinav works for creation of awareness, women empowerment, slum development, safe drinking water, health and hygiene facilities, water testing, technology, education system, etc. Abhinav prefers the role of a facilitator rather than an implementer with an objective of development of villagers especially women and children to make them stand on their feet and aspire of a healthy and wealthy life. The main motive has always been generating employment oriented opportunities and creating self-reliant community particularly addressing the needs of the rural society.
Abhinav provides strategic support for elevating the livelihoods of less privileged and marginalized communities. Our capacity to deliver quality results by associated with renowned organizations such as World Bank, Give India, ISRO, USAID, NABARD, JBIC, PNB, Credibility Alliance, and many others, whereas foreign support partner like, HDFC Bank. These organizations assign us timely project for the welfare of the rural peoples.
Abhinav has also conducted training programs, exposure visits/tours, fairs, etc, for educating and improving the skills of the rural society. Abhinav is also known for its illustrative work for conducting surveys, research work, case studies, and analysis. Abhinav always looks for such constructive work to give his contribution in social welfare.

Mr Singh is a founder and president of NGO “Abhinav” and having more than 22 years of experience in managing projects in the social sector with particular emphasis on public health welfare programs, environmental awareness, safe drinking water, sanitation, education, technology interventions, and women empowerment. He is a self-made social entrepreneur and committed professional in western part of Uttar Pradesh, India. His educational qualifications are MSc in Agriculture and MBA from a reputed institute.
With farming background, his interests have been closely linked to the development of agriculture through application of modern techniques in the sector. Mr Singh has implemented largest number of drinking water schemes and made sizeable impact in rain water harvesting, water plant conservation and water recharging program in Uttar Pradesh. He has widely involved in imparting trainings to rural women, men, farmers and youths. He has also given new directions to the Government Primary Schools of rural areas near Muzaffarnagar and set a benchmark for the state.
Mr Singh has travelled widely for simplifying the cause of needy peoples and worked on several projects with Government, and other organizations to benefit the rural and urban society. He has also been associated with a number of prominent industry associations and serves on Board of many prestigious companies. He is recipient of several awards like best entrepreneurships. With respect to technology development and research fronts, he has published several books like “Krishi Mein Deshiyan Takniki Gyan”, “Pyasi Dharti Sukhe Khet”, “Nayi Pahal”, etc, and also published many technical papers in National and International journals.
No wonder those who know him intimately swear that Mr. Singh is born to help the helpless. His boundless love for the subjugated finds expression in countless and tangible ways.
