1. In-house (individual) toilets for poor families

- Till March 2015, Total number of in-house toilets constructed for poor families = 12219

2. Distribution of Toilet Cleaning Kit to Poor Families
- For year 2015-16, Number of Toilet Cleaning Kit distributed = 256
- Till March 2015, Total number of Toilet Cleaning Kit distributed = 2400
- Cost of constructing one in-house toilet with underground septic tanks and 3 months toilet cleaning kit is Rs 15,000/-

3. World class public toilets

Objectives
1. Selection of families is based on the survey conducted by our team for constructing in-house toilet with excellent quality of super structure and simplified designs with Indian style and underground septic tanks for waste disposal
2. Distribution of toilet cleaning kit to needy ones and providing operation and maintenance to the constructed toilets.
3. Modern technologies like, automatic sensor with low cost recharge technology for recharging the pits and septic tanks, etc. for building world class public toilet complexes.

Programme Goals
1. Maintain healthy and hygienic environment in the beneficiary houses and at public places.
2. Regularization of practice the healthy habits and maintaining cleanliness.
3. change in behaviour and adoption of new practices.
4. Motivating them for using toilets rather than going for open defecation.

Programme Title
Skill Development and Food Processing Training Programmes in Muzaffarnagar, UP
Description
1. For Food Processing Training Programmes
Total number of peoples received training 2322
Total number of units manufactured 7662938

With the approval and support from Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Government of India, Abhinav provides food processing training programmes at J-20 Industrial Sector, Begrajpur, Muzaffarnagar, since year 2000 to facilitate training to youth, unemployed, women’s, farmers, members of SC/ST/OBC, and others.

With the approval and support from Government of Uttar Pradesh, Abhinav provides skill development training programmes at J-20, Industrial Area, Begrajpur, Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, since year 2011 to facilitate training to women’s, youths, BPL families, and others.

Objectives
Objective 1:
To provide the food processing knowledge; employment generation; preservation of seasonal vegetables and fruits for long time; food processing method; knowledge of nutrient food and its utilization; and surplus harvesting with modern techniques. Also, motivating them to start and grow their own enterprises for food processing, marketing knowledge about products, current demand and requirement of market, and raw material knowledge.

Objective 2:
To conduct skill enhancement programmes like vocational training and entrepreneurship for them to learn and up-grade skills. This motivates the beneficiaries to start and grow their own enterprise as per their interest and provide training to others at regular interval of time.

Education system and infrastructure development in Muzaffarnagar, UP
Description
Abhinav believes that Government school children should study in a very good atmosphere with all infrastructure facilities which help in improving the learning performance of the school children. With this as its goal, Abhinav has also adopted a Government school “Primary School Titawi 1” in district Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh to provide better facilities.

Objectives
Abhinav has adopted a Government school “Primary School Titawi 1” in district Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh to bring better education system and infrastructural development in the school. The main motive behind adopting the Government school is:
 To develop school infrastructure through construction, repairing and renovation.
 To install biometric machines for attendance purpose.
 To provide better education system facilities through library construction, NCERT books distribution, and educational kit.
 To conduct education tour for children to experience with the new learning environment
 To conduct training programmes for teachers and children
 To upgrade the technical systems of school classrooms
 To provide better midday meal facilities on own plates with safe drinking water
 To construct toilets in government schools allowing convenience and privacy for the boy and girl students as well as male and female teachers with of course low risk of suffering from diseases like diarrhea and other related diseases.
 To distribute health and hygiene kit to school children

Programme Goals
The debate of Private v/s Government school has been going on ever since the inception of private schools in terms of learning outcomes, management and infrastructure. Everyone knows the quality of education and infrastructure of Government schools is far behind than the private ones. Thus, there is need for proper implementation and monitoring of the Government schemes and policies in these schools.
