Target Intervention project
Description
SAMIDA is implementing Target intervention Project in the 10 Mandals which are Narsipatnam,Golugonda, Rolugunta, Makavarapalem, Kotavuratla, Rambelli, Yalamanchili Nakkapally, Payakaraopeta, Ravikamtham Mandals. 5 Outreach Workers and 20 Community peer educators are working in these mandasl with 1217 High Risk Populations means people who are having multiple sex partners, Sex workers and other vulnerable populations. In this connect, the TI staff members doing counseling, distribution of condoms, IEC materials, providing sexual health practices to the target community. Almost 5 Doctors are giving their services to the HRGs under SAMIDA TI, Project to prevent the HIV epidemic and sexually transmitted Infections (STI).
