About LIFE
Project ‘Life’ is a 35 year young NGO that operates from Rajkot, Gujarat. We are one of the oldest and reputed NGOs of Saurashtra.
The organization works on Health, Education, Environment, Women Empowerment, Tribal Housing and Science of Living.
Progress made till date
• Supplied 5,14,714 units of Blood and Blood components.
• Screened 6,23,398 persons for Thalassemia (Trait) and reached over 14 lakh people for awareness.
• Distributed for replantation of 2,43,475 plants of 6 to 8 feet height.
• Constructed 55 Primary Schools in rural Saurashtra, benefiting 17,000 Students
• Built 5 Primary Health Centers in rural Saurashtra.
• Benefited 5,29,998 persons through Alternate therapy of Yoga-Pranayama
• Over 4,536 women particularly widows and BPL women trained for income generating activities (IGA).
• Constructed 2,200 houses in tribal areas of Maharashtra through Tribal Housing Project.
• Out of 6 centres in Gujarat, Project ‘Life’ is one of the Non Resident Gujarat Centre (N.R.G).
