By 2023, we hope to impact 4 million learners and facilitators across the country.
Our team places emphasis on providing the learner with an independent and autonomous role. Through Knowledge Creation, Knowledge Transfer and Knowledge Assessment, QUEST aims to increase participation of learners and educators; young people studying in vocational and industrial training institutions are trained to navigate their personal and professional life with dignity and confidence. We work with Govt secondary schools and give them access to curriculum developed by Quest on life skills, digital literacy and coding. We also work to improve the capacity of Cluster Resource Centre Coordinators (CRCCs) and Head Masters (HMs) to create a joyful and inclusive learning environment.
Challenges: In our area of work, some of the key challenges are local job opportunities, the digital divide, reaching out to graduating students for placement support and ensuring accuracy of data such as contact numbers apart from getting it on time. Some of these challenges have been mitigated through dedicated placement officers and counsellors who are accessible at local level, maintaining and updating database of employers, trades and locations and developing Quest App that helps students to update their data and get support among the many other benefits.

Indicators: Each program has a full-fledged framework. Before we do our intervention we conduct a thorough needs assessment. At the beginning of our intervention we do baseline study this is done using surveys. To monitor the progress of the program our implementation partners are provided with a platform which is linked to Quest's database and allows them to track the progress as well as complete them on time. Support visits on a monthly basis is undertaken by the program staff to ensure quality in delivery. Quarterly reviews with the partners and also with the program team is conducted.
Till date, we have impacted701,224 youth, 298,297 adolescent girls and 2625 educators so far. Partnered with 2166 govt schools, 570 ITIs and 70 civil society organizations. As formal spaces for learning shut down due to Covid, we pivoted models to remote-learning across our work and moved from classrooms to laptops and phones. Through digital content on the Quest App, bite-sized learning on WhatsApp and Interactive Voice Response Systems for low connectivity areas, our goal was to ensure that learning never stopped.

The Quality Education and Skills Training (QUEST) Alliance was set up in the year 2005 as a program of the International Youth Foundation (IYF), financially supported by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) to help educators and educational institutions drive the use of technology in teaching and learning.
When the IYF mandate ended in 2009, QUEST Alliance was established as a not-for-profit trust that would continue that vision forward to make a long-term impact in the education sector. QUEST Alliance today continues to work closely with many partners to develop, demonstrate and scale solutions in the Education, Employability and Entrepreneurship domains
