Background

Organisation History
Our Achievements
1. We have reached more than 200 children in the past 3 years
2. Children are able to read, write, speak in English, with a good vocabulary, ability to recite poems, recognize colours.
3. The children are within normal range of weight now, after our intervention
4. Multivitamins are provided and so micronutrient deficiency is taken care of.
5. Deworm the children every six months.
6. Give nutrition counselling to mothers on a monthly basis
7. Decrease episodes of fever, diarrhea and sickness related absenteeism.

1. Local edu-health centre in every urban slum community.
2. Employment within Community through “Mahila Sevak”
3. Age Group of children – 3 to 6 years
4. Get children ready for Std. I in BMC schools, in a healthy and intelligent condition.
5. Address and solve malnutrition and develop healthy children.
6. Ensure quick and intelligent learning through innovative teaching methods
7. Instill personal hygiene and good values


Vision
Our Vision
Our innovative edu-health solution targeting pre-school toddlers from 3-6 years. It is a three pronged program focusing on the nutrition, education and sanitation of the children.
Children (3 to 6 years): Health (Nutrition + Sanitation) + Education = Winners ready for Step 1

• Status: Operational – Mansoor Clinic, Afghanistan – In charge of strategy for a chain of telemedicine clinics in Afghanistan with a Hub and spoke model, management consulting to stream line all business process, mentor to the CEO, trained clinic staff in management, set management information system, 2014- 15
• Status: Operational – Start up consultant for Uniworld Foundation, a USA based NGO. In charge of setting up, strategy, program planning and budgeting, 2015
• Status: Operational – Digihealth.af – Afghanistan’s first health care portal, made strategy for business development, marketing, and website development, 2015
• Status: Completed – Workshops on employee health, parenting and stress management for leading corporations like ICICI Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Enrich Salons, Mahindra and Mahindra, 2012-13

• Established community development centre in Nargis Dutt Nagar Bandra for education and health initiatives – like community clinics and nutrition clinics
• Step 1 Balwadi – conceptualized and implemented a Balwadi in Nargis Dutt Nagar which trains local girls from community as nursery teaching assistant and gives them livelihood, teaches English and value based education to toddlers
• Conceptualized and implemented health camps and social media marketing for World Kidney Day, World TB Day, International Women’s Day, World Diabetes Day etc.
• Sweepathon TM- conceptualised and conducted Sweepathon, sweep for a cause, an advocacy based movement combining the Swacch Bharat Abhiyan initiative, an annual event on 2nd October every year, conducted on 14th December 2014 in its maiden year
• Conceptualised and conducted Arogya Training Program – a chronic health initiative for the LGBT community, where the community workers were trained in screening camps and awareness messages for diabetes, hypertension, stress and nutrition related information in partnership with The Humsafar Trust
