RAJKOT SAHER JILLA GRAHAK SURAKSHA MANDAL, RAJKOT envisages to educate the Indian Consumers and Investors to safeguard their Rights as Consumers through Advertisements/Handbills/Seminars.

• Major Activities for Objective :
Establish monthly Enforcement track for Improvement Plans for each consumer & Investors Education, Awareness and Protection Project and Programs.
Our Institute a mandatory Enforcement Institution for all Rural and Urban enforcement Projects.
Reduce the complaint ratio of Consumer and Investors by Investigation within six months.
Facilitate a data exchange procedure with the other consumers protection organizations in our country.
Develop standard procedures for contracting with subject matter experts.
Conduct seminar-cum-workshop at schools and Colleges for Consumer & Investors Education, Awareness and Protection with aim of creating awareness from grassroots level.
• Digital India Campaign:
Promote the use of social media tools (Face book, Twitter, and YouTube) for sharing the knowledge regarding consumer and investors protection and its success stories and also the difficulties.
We have been allotted the 1st in Gujarat, A “District Consumer Information Centre” by the Department of Consumer Welfare Fund, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, Government of India, New Delhi. Since then the “District Consumer Information Centre is in working condition till today by our organization.
Our organization is approved by the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, Government of India, New Delhi and Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Gujarat State.
Our organization is running one of the Consumer Advice Center (CAC) at Rajkot out of 6 CAC in Gujarat.
The organization was founded in 1976 by Shri Ramjibhai B. Mavani, B.A. LL.B. (Advocate, Gujarat High Court), Ex-M.P (Lok Sabha) the Founder President. The present President, Smt. Ramaben R. Mavani, B.A. LL.B. (Advocate, Gujarat High Court) also has been an Ex-M.P (Lok Sabha). Both are full time Consumer Activist, they have left their legal practice, to devote full time for these activities.
Our organization was twice awarded the prestigious SWAMI VIVEKANANDA NATIONAL AWARD in the year 2000 and 2001 for the outstanding contribution in the field of consumer & investors protection by Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Government of India, New Delhi.
Our organization was twice awarded the prestigious Gujarat State Government Award for the outstanding contribution in the field of Consumer Protection Activities in the year 2004-05 & 2005-06 & at Gandhinagar, awarded by The Hon’ble Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, Government of Gujarat, Gandhinagar.
This year we celebrated National Consumer Right Day 2015 for 10 days from 21st to 31st December 2015 with theme SAFETY & HEALTHY FOOD – COMBATING FOOD ADULTERATION” at various place of Rajkot, Morbi, Jamnagar, Surendranagar District of Gujarat.

Our Mission is to provide Telephonic advice, information and guidance to empower Indian consumers and persuade businesses to reorient their policy and management systems to address consumer concerns and grievances adopting world class standards”.Our Mission is to be an effective National Coalition of Consumer Protection Groups so as to provide thrust to common issues affecting consumers.

• To act as mediatory between consumer and seller/service provider for amicable solution of dispute, grievance.

We arranging Seminar-cum-workshops on Consumer and Investors’ Education each and every rural area at State level time to time around the year.
We arrange meetings in rural areas especially in backward/ remote areas at public places where consumers, laborers, farmers, investors and general public could remain present for participating and put their grievances to the notice of the leaders especially in rural areas, where these meetings, seminars, exhibitions and training camps need to be organized. However, such programmes are arranged at Taluka places for joint meetings.
We arrange whole day seminar-cum-workshop in rural areas especially Taluka Level at public places where consumers could remain present for Consumer Awareness, Education and Protection at villages of Rajkot District every year. We have consumer clubs at Schools in Rajkot District, Jamnagar District and Surendranagar District under our jurisdiction.
Thus we guide young generation on consumer Protection.
Our organization organizes seminars-cum- workshops with prestigious institutions such as Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDA), Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA), Quality Council of India (CCI), Consumer Coordination Council (CCC), Bombay Stock Exchange Limited (BSE), National Stock Exchange Limited (NSE), Telephone Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) etc. every year for consumers and investors protection.
Every year 50 (Fifty ) seminars have been organized in the presence of dignitaries & leading personalities in order to spread the deep knowledge among Investors & consumers making them aware to serve the basic purpose. To honour and in remembrance of this organization, mementos are awarded in certain programmes. We also have experts associated with our organization for Banking Sector, Telecom Sector, Insurance Sector, Railway Sector etc., Stock Market, Economic and Education etc.
We arrange many exhibitions in may CITIES, URBAN AREAS, SEMI-URBAN AREAS, RURAL AREAS and especially in economically backward areas for creating awareness and educate the Investors & Consumers.
We arrange training programmes at rural areas through well educated/trained members of this organization. The people are also made aware as regards their rights and duties as Investors and Consumers so on.
The debates were also planned out at the time of seminars at taluka level and rural area places. This method had grand success and large number of participants had earned pinpointing knowledge during group discussions.
Instead of time consuming litigation we solve a number of cases by way of negotiations and counseling with both the parties and thus organization has helped the consumers losing money and valuable time in litigation. Both the concerned parties leave the premises with full satisfaction after the compromise.
Some particular days are fixed for celebrations nationally and/or internationally to remember a particular subject or group and to remind the society of its duty towards the same. Accordingly the following days are celebrated enthusiastically by our organization every year without fail.

The theme of the seminar was “Investors Awareness & Protection in India”.

The theme of the seminar was “Rural Investors & Investors Association”. The seminar was organized on 18th of May, 2015

Our organization enjoys the jurisdiction all over Gujarat state and is the only registered/Recognized by Government of Gujarat and Government of India one in Rajkot, District.
This organization is a non-profit making social organization comprising of professionals striving for Protection, Education and Empowerment of Consumers.
We organize programmes keeping in view the communal unity and social integration, illuminating Human Rights and uphold them with a view to aiming at world peace.
