Brief About Chief Executive of DESIRE Society Mr G Ravi Babu is the Founder and Chief Executive of DESIRE Society. He has been contributing to the organization as a service provider to HIV children’s population in India since its inception of the organization year 2005. To begin with, the educational back ground [Social Studies in Post-Graduation] has provided platform to wide array of knowledge gain. The knowledge dissipation has begun with preparing for civils (UPSC exams) as an aspirant of civil services , shifted his mind set to social sector. “HIV children’s “issues were close to his heart, because he unfortunately lost his childhood friend due to HIV/AIDS in the year of 1998. This sad demise had deeply influenced him to choose the cause of HIV/AIDS children as a targeted population in Indian boundaries under the umbrella of DESIRE Society. “DESIRE Society“ formation fulfills his dreams of anchoring as socio economic up-liftment [concept of caring such children via free helath camps , institutional care home ]touching figure of #800 such children as enlisted beneficiaries at four city locations [ Hyderabad, Bangalore, Mumbai ,Vizag] since 2005. The achievements foresighted his ability to develop “sustainable model “of serving HIV children’s population in India. It has component of replicability factor associated with these developed systems [ health camps and care home ] which led to wide spread presence in four city locations of India. The US government mediated young social leadership associate fellowship facilitation (IVLP-2009) paved way of “Indian Social Representation” to global scale. “Best NGO award 2007-08 and 2011-12 in Medak District facilitation reflects his conclusive ability to take leadership role in serving community.” Dr B R Ambedkar award “2012 has another feather added to his NGO – leadership mediations in India. To summarize, the journey from education of social background to a socially driven work force within Indian boundaries has a long way to accomplish as replica of outreach to needy community.
