Focused HIV prevention programmes with 350 people who use drugs in Goa.

These include behavioural interventions like behavior change communication (BCC), counseling, HIV testing and STI services, linkages to HIV/TB/Hepatitis C care, drop in centre, free condoms, coupled with other services like legal education, crisis management, advocacy and family support.

Only organization implementing harm reduction programme in Goa which include needle syringe exchange programme (NSEP), Opiod Substitution Therapy (OST), outreach programmes and family intervention.

The total budget of the project is 19,07,700.

Positive People is a pioneering organization working in the field of HIV since 1992 in the state of Goa. It works for people living with HIV and the most at risk population which include female sex workers and injecting drug users in Goa. It also has a rehabilitation centre for drug users.
