Many students in our service area are dropping from education in the middle, due to lack of educational material & fee support, since their impoverished parents could not provide them. Their parents are mainly working in shops & establishments, market yards, hotels & restaurants, etc. and engaged as auto drivers, rickshaw pullers, flower & vegetable vendors, domestic servants, etc. SST NGO would like to support for the educational needs of the deprived students.

Support to the Basic Minimum Needs of 100 Disadvantaged Oldage Persons for their happy living

Oldage persons have lost the respect and love from their family members. The oldage persons belonging to downtrodden sections are starving because their poverty stricken families cannot afford to provide timely food to them. They face harassment from their own family members. Many old age persons are not having good living conditions. They lack clothes, blankets, sweaters and other personal belongings. They are sleeping on the floor without blankets even in winter season. They have no washing or bathing soaps, due to which they are falling illness. We identified 100 such oldage persons. We would like to support their needs for happy living.

With the COVID-19 pandemic, we are facing an unprecedented time today. This difficult time gives a precious opportunity to support each other and ensure to impact as many lives as possible through collaboration. In light of the COPVID-19 crisis, Society for Social Transformation is helping out to ease the COVID-19 situation through food supplies and food security to Daily Wage Workers, Auto Drivers, Petty Traders and Servant Maids, whose livelihoods are crashed due to Covid-19 Crisis. We like to distribute Dry Ration Kit with Rice/Atta, Dal, Cooking oil and Spices, which is the basic food requirement for 2-3 months. We solicit and request support for Compensating Wage Loss to Daily Wage Workers, Auto Drivers, Petty Traders and Servant Maids, whose livelihoods are crashed due to Covid-19 Crisis. SST has been serving the vulnerable communities in the fields of relief, rehabilitation, awareness generation, advocacy, capacity building, skill development, financial inclusion etc. It has been conducting activities like distribution of educational material to poor/orphan students; Clothing /bedding to elderly; Spectacles to truck drivers, financial literacy camps, consumer education meetings, road safety education camps, health camps, fashion designing/computer trainings, seminars/workshops on education policies/social issues etc. It has been serving target groups like women, children, youth, elderly, orphans, students, farmers etc. It has served more than 670000 beneficiaries in the last 17 years.
