Goals
1.We create awareness on various issues like environment, education,
legal, social, health, rights, etc.
2. Build capacities and impart vocational skill training programs in
computers, dress making, fashion designing, embroidery works, soft
toys making, etc.
3.Provide relief & rehabilitation to the victims natural calamities,
atrocities, discrimination, harassment etc.
4.Support for income generation and sustainable livelihoods
5.Distribute educational material and sponsor fee for poor students
6.Distribute cloths, blankets, spectacles, fruits, sweets, bread,
groceries, etc to old age, orphans, poor patients in hospitals and
destitute
7. Organize seminars, workshops, studies & research on various
socio,economic, educational, cultural issues
8.Conduct celebrations of joint festivals, national festivals, summer
camps for peace & harmony
9.Provide career guidance and counseling
10. Run creche centers, adult education centers, coaching centers, etc

Background

Organisation History
In the year 2007, Seven persons, having passion in social service to uplift the quality of life of the downtrodden communities, established Society for Social Transformation. We have compassion towards the problems of the poor and downtrodden. We understood that lack of knowledge and awarenes is the main reason for all the problems of human beings. We felt the the friuts of development is not reaching to the downtrodden communities. We would like to take up social, economic, health, educational, agricultural, rural development and cultural Activities for transformation of the society. That is why, we have establised this society. We believe in Capacitization of deprived, disadvantaged & vulnerable sections of the society.


Purpose & Strategies
Undertake comprehensive & integrated development interventions for the empowerment of deprived, disadvantaged & vulnerable sections of the society focusing on women, children & youth

Chief Executive's Profile
The Director of the organization is a postgraduate in social science and having 18 years of rich experience in social service working in many voluntary organizations including COVA, a reputed national level organization. He has undergone number of trainings, workshops, and seminars and exposed to voluntary sector activities. He is the Chief Advisor, Chief Planner and Chief Monitor of the activities of the organization.
