Fund-Raising Campaign Design Workshop

The Communiqué and GuideStar India capacity building initiative for GivingTuesday India

When is it? It is a full-day workshop from 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Date would be announced in May and workshop likely to be held in May or June 2020.

Where is it? Venue will be in Mumbai.

Why is it being held? The one-day, one-of-its-kind, hands-on workshop is being held to build capacity in fund-raising campaign design skills.

Skills learnt will help NGOs make the most of GivingTuesday India and the opportunities it provides to raise funds, as well as empower NGOs to successfully raise funds throughout the year.

Topics include the role of research when designing campaigns, the Adoption Curve, and how to design a campaign using a campaign design framework.

Learning will be through short films, case studies, open discussions, guided group work, presentations by participants, and feedback sessions. Click here for the Agenda.

What is the main takeaway?

An actual ready to use fund-raising campaign picked up by each group and the skills to create an effective fund-raising campaign beyond the workshop.
 
What will it cost?

Rs. 2,750 + Rs. 495 [18% GST] = Rs. 3,245 per participant.

·     Includes workshop material, lunch and tea/coffee; does not include participant’s accommodation and transport.

Who is the Faculty?
 
 
Rama Arya is the Founder and Executive Director of The Communiqué, a consultancy passionate about building capacity in communication skills. Rama designs and runs communication training programs and workshops building on her over 20 years of experience. She also runs the biannual 5-day Certificate Program in Development Communication held at TISS Mumbai since 2017.
