Programme Title
Aangan Home
Description
Aangan is a day care that we have been running since 2008 with the support from Max India Foundation. It was started initially to provide healthcare and nutrition to the children belonging to the homeless communities living near Jama Masjid, but the centre has seen a major growth since its induction back then. Today it is a fully equipped day care offering non-formal education along with mainstream regular school admissions for older children, quality healthcare and nutritious food for 40-50 children every day. Along with this, children are exposed to a variety of activities meant for their social, emotional and physical growth such as arts and craft, dance and theatre, sports, indoor games, life skills education, awareness on health related issues, etc.

Programme Title
Aman Home
Description
‘Aman’ has been Jamghat’s first project, operating successfully since 2003, having rehabilitated more than 40 boys in all these years. After getting a family in Jamghat, these children were able to come out of a drug-based environment and were willing to be reunited with their families. During their time at Aman, they learned skills based on their specific interests and capabilities. Most of them today have remained self reliant; they got married and are able to support their families.
Aman is a long term children’s home with a capacity of 15 boys. In case of need, it can accommodate few more children.
